On an afternoon walk along a path at Greenfield, I came face to face with this beautiful boxer. We stared at one another for probably 10 seconds, even though it felt like 5 minutes, until the dog’s owner caught up with it. She apologized for having it loose and said the dog wouldn’t hurt anyone. I thanked for the brief moment I had to commune with such a gorgeous canine. Sept. 11, 2017.
